Do you get workflow?

Before you decide not or set up workflow. You should know clearly what is a workflow. A workflow is an automated process that helps people review a file. Then you just sit back, and people are notified automatically to review the file. If they forget, they will be sent another e-mail. And when everyone’s all done, a web page summarizes the workflow and serves as a record of who was involved.

Actually, you need to get a file reviewed by a bunch of people. If during the process, people change or comment on the file, you may not be able to view all of their changes and comments in one place.

Otherwise, when you first start as a photographer (I still struggle with this), you may find yourself looking at a photo and scratching your head. What do I need to do to this? A workflow helps prevent that. You run through everything, from A-Z, and always cover every base.

In conclusion, the value with workflow is you can process the incoming data type into another format before sending them out. For example, I can pull the title of the URL, connect the title with the clipboard, and convert the combined text as PDF before saving it to Evernote. Not only you’re not resisted to the type of data, but you can also retrieve values from multiple sources.
Workflow is the definition, execution and automation of business processes where tasks, information or documents are passed from one participant to another for action, according to a set of procedural rules.

Organizations use workflows to coordinate tasks between people and synchronize data between systems, with the ultimate goal of improving organizational efficiency, responsiveness and profitability.

Workflows automate the flow of employee tasks and activities, reducing the time the process took to complete as well as potential errors caused by human interaction.Workflows makes processes more efficient, compliant, agile, and visible by ensuring that every process step is explicitly defined, monitored over time, and optimized for maximum productivity. Given optimal, up-to-the-minute process data, managers and employees can take quicker action and make smarter decisions. Workflows empower business users and IT to work together to rapidly modify systems and processes to reflect changes in the business.

Workflow software provides organizations with the technology functionality, enabling them to innovate and create new working environments that not only define the business process and tasks, but execute and run them through common day-today applications like Outlook and Word.
